Turn your old PC into a File Server

TechManifesto.com has a cool little tutorial explaining how to turn an older computer into a file server and make some good use out of it.
This tutorial is the simplest possible solution of course, even using Windows.
I would naturally recommend installing Linux on the older PC, use Samba for the same goal above, but also add FTP, Web, video and audio servers.. But that’s just me..
