A picture from the future space elevator

One science fiction idea which I’ve heard a long time ago, and that actual science is really looking into right now is the Space Elevator.
Although born in the books of science fiction, we keep reading about this as an actual valid and doable engineering feat that will indeed take place not so long in the future.
Anyhow, I’ve found this beautiful make-believe picture from the space elevator.
Can’t wait to actually ride it.
