Google Calendar

Google, Google, Google. They’ve done it again.
A new Google service – Google Calendar has been launched today.
Google Calendar allows you to have a personal calendar, or even multiple calendars, send and receive invitations, publish free/busy times (with or without details) and even add other users with rights to read and/or write to one’s calendar.
It can send notifications and reminders via email, SMS and Pop-up and can import data from iCal or CSV (MS Outlook).

I think that what I’ve written about Google Base applies for Google Calendar as well –
I don’t find Google Calendar as a standalone service to be really impressive. It’s cool, but nothing more.
However, when setting your aim a little higher and looking at the wider angle you understand Google Calendar is just another milestone, another step, another feature for the future online Google OS.
