Windows Vista RTM this week

Paul Thurrott is exclusively reporting that Windows Vista will be finalized and released to manufacturers this week.
Wow, can you believe we’re actually so close to Windows Vista?
I’ve been waiting a few good years now, and somehow, everyone agrees that it’s a huge anti-climax - Vista (Or “Longhorn”, as it was known throughout most of that time) was supposed to be the next generation of Windows OS.
And today, just a few days away from the official release, Vista is seen as nothing more than an expensive, maybe unnecessary, upgrade for XP.
We’ll all wait and see…
