I can’t seriously call myself a gamer. I used to call myself a gamer, but that was a few good years ago now.
Playing computer games used to be a serious hobby for me, but marrying, having 2 kids, a dog, a career and just life in general kind of sets different priorities in life.
I even haven’t upgraded my PC for 6 years now, something I couldn’t even have imagined to happen just a few years ago. It’s a pretty week machine at this stage, and I couldn’t care less as long as I can communicate, watch movies, store photos etc.
So I can say that for the last few years I didn’t play, literally, at all. No games, nothing – But that’s life, I guess it’s normal.

BUT, I just read an announcement that made my gaming nerves twitch again.
Blizzard just announced they are working on Diablo 3.
The Diablo series of games was one of my favorite of all times, a cool rich (yet mindless fun) hack and slash that I spent a lot of hours with. The first Diablo was released more than 10 years ago, Diablo 2 was released around 8 years ago. So that’s how long it’s been. Wow, time flies when you’re having fun.

I know that I will buy (I will actually BUY this game!) along with a new PC that will run it decently – That’s just how much I’m exciting with the news.
